We take immense pride in the quality of all the equipment and solutions we supply, but are realistic enough to appreciate that things can go wrong from time to time.
Whenever they do so, it's invariably not the problem itself but the speed and efficiency with which it is addressed, which makes the difference to you and your business.
We recently stood back from our warranty claims process to explore ways to make it smoother, faster and more fuss-free.
We think the changes we've made will be welcomed by our dealers, appointed service partners and, most importantly by you; our valued customer.
Here's what you need to know:
As soon as you are aware of a problem with your Allight-supplied equipment, you must contact either your nearest Allight branch or your local Perkins or FG Wilson dealer.
They will discuss your problem and work out whether you have grounds for a claim under your warranty.
If it appears that you do have grounds for a claim, they will complete a Prior Work Application Approval (PWAA) form and send it to us. If the problem you're having isn't covered by warranty, your dealer will provide you with a quote for the work.
Bear in mind that the PWAA form must reach us within 7 days of the failure of your equipment - so the sooner you get in touch with your nearest repairer, the better. If your claim reaches us more than seven days after the failure occurs, we may have to reject it.
Once we've had a look at the PWAA form and made sure the problem is in line with our claim validity guidelines, we'll immediately send the repairer an approval to start the work. In some cases, we may have to reject your claim.
If additional work outside of the scope the approved PWAA form is required, the repairer must seek further approval from us before performing any additional work.
Once the work is complete, the repairer must complete and submit a Warranty Claim Form (WCF) and an invoice to Allight for the work done on your behalf. The WCF must be submitted within 14 days of the repair. Failure to submit the claim within this period may result in the claim approval being withdrawn or rejected.
