Working the Nightshift
Allight are covering the nightshift for every worksite with the Nightshifter Manual 4000 finally released in Australia; joining the Nightshifter Hydraulic 6000, the newly relaunched Urban Light, Mine Spec series and Super Skids in the world's largest and most diverse range of mobile lighting solutions.
The NM4000 was launched internationally at the Conexpo tradeshow in Las Vegas last March, and has since experienced a phenomenally fast market uptake. Allight's engineers have recently refined the design to deliver improved strength and durability, and added a braking system option allowing the units to be road licensed in Australia and South Africa. Accordingly, the newly fine-tuned Mark 3 Nightshifter Manuals are now ready to roll Down Under.
The Nightshifter 4000 represents the entry level range of mobile lighting solutions; it is versatile and reliable, without the specialized mine-site features and size - not to mention price tag - of the Mine Spec series.
The towers' strong white light is from their four 1000W double-ended metal halide lamps. As part of our designers' focus on hassle free and cost effective transport for the Nightshifter range, the towers' light fittings feature extraordinary shock resistance.
360 degree manual mast rotation and unique 120 degree light tilt via the control panel allows the light output to be directed to the exact location required. With the new Mark 3 incarnation of NM4000 now available in Australia, this versatile little tower punches well above its weight and is ready to take on the night sky whenever - and wherever – it's needed.
Lightweight and measuring just two and a half metres in length (with the drawbar retracted), and less than 1.2 metres in width, up to ten fully assembled NM4000s can be carried on a single 40' flatbed truck. Moreover, to keep transport costs to an absolute minimum in shipping, up to 16 units can be stowed in a 40' container.
The new Mark 3 towers can be fitted with brakes and road licensed, their compact footprint making for easy towing by any car. With vibration resistant lamps, retractable drawbar, forklift pockets, lifting points and tie down straps all factored in for absolute ease of transport, the Nightshifter 4000 really is one for the road; for the truck, for the car, for the cargo container...
